NHS Time to Care Launched in Chingford

Members of the CWG Labour Party and local healthcare volunteers attended our street stall in Chingford to ask local residents their views about what their priorities are for protecting the NHS

A huge number of residents took the time to meet with local members of Chingford and Woodford Green Labour party, Bilal and local healthcare volunteers to answer our residents survey. Absolutely everyone talked about how important the NHS was to them and their families. But they also talked about how they have had to wait longer than a week for an appointment, and waiting for at least 4 hours in A&E.

Bilal said 'talking to residents, we can see that the damage the Conservatives have caused and the inability of the LibDems to do anything about it.' In particular, basic blood testing facilities are less than adequate, made worse no doubt by the vicious cuts of this Government. I will continue to campaign for the NHS to have time to care.'
